About Our Oven-

We start with 2″ of perlite concrete as a base which absorbs heat from the oven, on top of that is the 5 piece hearth of 1.5″ refractory concrete.  With a 32″ interior, there’s plenty of cooking space. The dome is also made of 1.5″ refractory concrete with refractory mortar on the seams and thermal sealant along the seam between the hearth and the dome. Then there is 3.5″ of ceramic fiber insulation which not only retains heat in the oven it also stops heat from radiating outside.  The exterior is a stucco which can be painted or we can do custom finishes. It also has a steel door.

Each dome seam has an overlap to insure as little heat loss as possible.
